Through the years, women have always been regarded as inferior to men. Tagged as the weaker sex, women strived to achieve a better place in Philippine society. From the struggle for the right to vote and to the right to engage in male-dominated occupations, women have shown that they can be as good, even better, contributors to society’s progress.
In recognition of women’s important role in our nation’s development, our lawmakers have passed several laws addressing their problems and protecting their rights against abuse and discrimination. Notably, in the field of labor law, women are considered as a special category of employees. Their working conditions are treated in a separate chapter in the Labor Code (Chapter I, Title III, Book III). List of businesses that will maximize earnings and profit on Valentine’s Day
Wondering what are the kinds of industries and businesses that will rise again this Valentine’s day? Well, I just got this list from my mind. If you have something in your thought that you think I forgot to list, then please feel free to add them here.
Here is the list:
1. Flower Shops. The number one in the list and I don’t need to explain this anymore.
2. Jewelry Stores. Girls love jewelries especially diamonds. Gold, silvers and precious stones will also make women happy. On Valentine’s Day, men will wish to make their women happy. What men will do? You already know what I mean.
3. Chocolates, cakes and other sweet foods manufacturers. Love is sweet. To represent and experience this sweetness, indulging our sense of taste is the answer. You may tell your girl that “chocolates are sweet but you are sweeter than these chocolates”. To do these you will bring real chocolates.
4. Restaurants. What is the first thing that comes in our minds when we hear the word dating? A very romantic date needs to have a very romantic dinner. Read more
