Goodbye 2009! The great memories and moments you have contributed to my life are just remarkable. Although 2010 is now the year that I will be seeing in calendars everywhere, the lessons I’ve learned in 2009 will always remain in my mind, in my heart and in my blood. Most of those wisdoms were production of my business activities directed by my never-ending spiritual conquest. This year, I’ll be a full-time entrepreneur, considering my release from employment last December 2009. The following business lessons I learned in 2009 will be my greatest tools to achieve entrepreneurial success in 2010.
1. Stick to your game plan
This is a lesson I learned from Manny Pacquiao and Freddie Roach, the world’s best boxer and trainer of the decade. Many people are asking what is the secret behind the great victories of the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world, the Pacman. The key is simple, stick to the game plan. In the world of entrepreneurship, we always have that game plan. That plan is directed to our main goals. However, there are several opportunities that come in our ways. Some of these opportunities are so attractive enough to drive us away from our original plans. The worst is… it’s already too late before we realize that we are already heading to the wrong direction, direction that will lead us to failure. Pacquiao, although he sees an opportunity to knockout his opponent during fight time, he maintains prudence and avoid carelessness to take the bait of his opponent. He sticks to the game plan and eventually become a winner. Simply in business, we should create the best plan, and then stand for it. Read more

Busy… this is what describes most of business owners and entrepreneurs. Because of so much work and stress, they become physically unfit. Some of them are craving to earn so much profit while earning different diseases. What is the essence of gaining so much money if you will just spend them in paying your hospital bills? What is the significance of becoming rich if you will only die soonest? Greediness makes people sick. This is because greedy people overwork and abuse their selves just to grab everything they can see. Lies make people stressed. This is because liars are not free and always have sleepless nights. Also, proud persons don’t have comfort. This is because they can’t do everything they need to do because of fear in losing their pride. In other words, what behind the sickness and wickedness of all people, especially the businessmen and entrepreneurs, are evils that are already residing in their hearts. Read more
How to become rich and have a long life?

I’ve been busy for the past few days reading the Bible and searching for wisdom and understanding from God. The holy scriptures are the greatest book and the no. 1 most published book of all time having been published for more than 6 billion copies worldwide. But beyond its popularity, the Bible is a book of truth for Christians and what makes it the greatest book for me is God’s incapability to lie. His impossibility to lie makes the scriptures veracious and reliable. I know atheists around the world will again become antagonists on this. If you are one of them and you don’t want to believe it, you may leave now please. This is not the right article for you because God’s wisdom will not be understood by the unbelievers.
But for the faithful one, behold for the glory and grace of God. He wants you and He wants us to be rich and have a long life. Please read and accept God’s wisdom with all your heart. Read more

Leadership is the process of using values and principles to govern and influence people to effect a change for improving each person and the organization as a whole to accomplish a common goal. This is my humble definition of leadership. Romans 12:8 of the Bible even describes “to lead” as “to govern diligently” which also means leadership requires hard work not only physically but more than that, emotionally, mentally and spiritually. Great leadership is essential in business, political, societal, spiritual and other organizations. That’s why, a leader should see to it that he possess all the qualities and values of a great leader and never stop learning from them. The following are five basic and fundamental ways to become a great leader: Read more
How to become a great speaker and influence people

Becoming a great speaker is vital for becoming a great (business, political, social and spiritual) leader, manager, employer, marketer, writer, preacher, adviser, teacher, et cetera. This is because words can be powerful enough to change people’s thoughts, emotions, actions and ultimately their lives. They can be like swords that destroy anyone or can be a number of sweet music that comfort everyone. This can also be applicable to writers on how they can influence their readers since speakers and writers both use the power of words. In my studies and reflections on some of the world’s greatest speakers (Jesus Christ, Mahatma Gandhi, Abraham Lincoln, Confucius and others), I have observed and realized that a great speaker should possess two very important qualities – wisdom and humility. Yes you have read it clearly – wisdom and humility. Without the two of them or without one of them, a speaker can become ineffective and uninteresting. To make my point more comprehensive, I have illustrated four types of speakers as follows: Read more
