Are you planning to build your own business? If yes, then you should build it the right way. The right way to build a business should begin at your heart and at your mind. Start establishing it at your heart. Yes you’ve read it right…at your heart! Why I am saying this? One of the top reasons why a businessman fails is his lack of passion and joy to his business. Once you raise a company which you don’t find interesting, you can hardly invest energy and enthusiasm on it. Thus, it may lead to a business downfall. The first thing to do to form a company that will stand through time is to make sure that it is written in the tablet of your heart. Ask yourself…do I really love this business? If you can honestly and firmly answer a “yes” on that question, then congratulations! You have built your business in your heart the right way. Read more
10 business lessons I learned in 2009

Goodbye 2009! The great memories and moments you have contributed to my life are just remarkable. Although 2010 is now the year that I will be seeing in calendars everywhere, the lessons I’ve learned in 2009 will always remain in my mind, in my heart and in my blood. Most of those wisdoms were production of my business activities directed by my never-ending spiritual conquest. This year, I’ll be a full-time entrepreneur, considering my release from employment last December 2009. The following business lessons I learned in 2009 will be my greatest tools to achieve entrepreneurial success in 2010.
1. Stick to your game plan
This is a lesson I learned from Manny Pacquiao and Freddie Roach, the world’s best boxer and trainer of the decade. Many people are asking what is the secret behind the great victories of the best pound-for-pound boxer in the world, the Pacman. The key is simple, stick to the game plan. In the world of entrepreneurship, we always have that game plan. That plan is directed to our main goals. However, there are several opportunities that come in our ways. Some of these opportunities are so attractive enough to drive us away from our original plans. The worst is… it’s already too late before we realize that we are already heading to the wrong direction, direction that will lead us to failure. Pacquiao, although he sees an opportunity to knockout his opponent during fight time, he maintains prudence and avoid carelessness to take the bait of his opponent. He sticks to the game plan and eventually become a winner. Simply in business, we should create the best plan, and then stand for it. Read more

As small to large companies are coping with our slumping global economic condition, I believe this is just the right time that we share each other’s ideas and strengths. For me, when things get worst and there are no other solutions we can find in our brain banks, we need to go back to what are basic and fundamentals. I believe that the following basic solutions will make it through the road of business success despite of any unfavorable and negative economic forces.
1. Have no fear. The first thing we should do is to eliminate our fear with this negative economic phenomenon. In this battle of financial crisis, the first thing that we need to conquer is our own fear. Besides, so much fear will just eat your time and energy into nothing – what a waste! Isn’t it? Read more

“The plans of the diligent lead surely to plenty, but those of everyone who is hasty, surely to poverty.” Proverbs 21:5
In business, we should not become careless and in a hurry. We should posses the virtue of patience and diligence. Business success is not instantly achieved. It should be carried out with sacrifices and endurance to attain long-term success. Intelligence, talents and skills are not enough without diligence. Remember the story of the turtle and the rabbit? The two agreed to have a race. The rabbit has all the advantage since he is so fast compare to the turtle. Because of that advantage, the rabbit just sleep under the three after surpassing the turtle during the middle of the race, thinking the turtle is too slow and he can win the race even if he will sleep for a while.
