So how can we really receive God’s blessings? Let’s find the answer right from the Holy book where His words are written.

Proverbs 3:33 (NKJ V)
The curse of the LORD is on the house of the wicked; but He blesses the home of the just.

It’s clear that the curse of God will be on the wicked people regardless of those grand ceremonies done to bless their houses or offices. Wicked people are those people described by the Holy Scriptures as follows:

Proverbs 6:12-15 (NKJV)
A worthless person, a wicked man, walks with a perverse mouth; he winks with his eyes, he shuffles his feet, he points with his fingers; perversity is in his heart, he devises evil continually, he sows discord. Therefore his calamity shall come suddenly; suddenly he shall be broken without remedy.

On the other hand just people are people who have wisdom in their minds and understanding in their hearts. These persons are protected and preserved by the Lord.

Proverbs 2:7-11 (NKJV)
He stores up sound wisdom for the upright; He is a shield to those who walk uprightly; He guards the paths of justice, And preserves the way of His saints. Then you will understand righteousness and justice, Equity and every good path. When wisdom enters your heart, and knowledge is pleasant to your soul, Discretion will preserve you; Understanding will keep you.

Most people do not read the Holy Bible, and because of that, many of them have become slaves of misconceptions over the years. It is neither the priests nor the rituals that will bring our houses and our offices to the good path; it is our good selves that will bring such path. Our justice and righteousness, and our wisdom and understanding from God, are the ones that will keep us away from evils and bad curses. Furthermore, blessings from the Lord are not to be paid. They are preached and guided by the true preachers and servants of God who will neither demand nor lay their hands to ask you for monetary payment.

Matthew 10:7-10 (NKJV)
And as you go, preach, saying, ‘The kingdom of heaven is at hand.’ Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give. Provide neither gold nor silver nor copper in your money belts, nor bag for your journey, nor two tunics, nor sandals, nor staffs; for a worker is worthy of his food.

Conclusion:
God blesses people who are just. He protects and preserves people who follow His teachings and commandments. These teachings give us wisdom to light our path to good life. His commandments keep us away from evils and punishments. In blessing our houses or our offices and everything that inside them, we don’t’ need to pay for money, we need to pay attention to God and to the righteousness of our selves. No matter how many ceremonies and arrangements are done in our residences and business premises, if we still commit sins (lie, pride, gluttony, drunkenness, immorality, greed, wrath, murder, sloth, envy, et cetera), we cannot achieve the Lord’s blessing.  For example, though a businessman successfully perform a blessing ceremony in his office; if he still deceives his customers, become iniquitous to his workers and lie to the government, the evils inside his heart will surely bring him to entrepreneurial tragedies. On the other hand, even if without rituals or parties, if we fear the Lord, obey His commandments, and follow His teachings (love, humility, peace, kindness, gentleness, joy, righteousness, and the like), surely He will give our houses, our offices, our businesses, and its people a true blessings that will bring us the true wealth and riches in life.
