The 1st Philippine Blog Awards was successfully held on March 31, 2007 at the RCBC Theater, RCBC Tower, Makati City with over 200 bloggers and participants attending the awards night. Then on the 21st day of September 2008, the 2nd PBA Awards Night was held at One Esplanade. Around thirty awards were given out during the night.

This year, the Philippine Blog Awards has recognized BusinessAccent.com as one of the eight finalists in the business and entrepreneurship category. Being included in the list of the best business blogs across the nation for 2009 is a great honor that I will always remember for the rest of my entrepreneurial life. This is a dream come true for me and for this blog. And even though I will not be called as the winner on Friday’s awards night, my greatest gratitude to the PBA will always remain in my heart and in my Filipino blood. 

The following list consists of the Philippine Blog Awards 2009 finalists for the business and entrepreneurship category (with our blog proudly listed first due to alphabetical order ). They are composed of old and new blogs. Among the seven other blogs, I have already known three of them (PMT, Ready to Be Rich and Millionaire Acts). These blogs served as my mentors when I was just starting my blog back in January 2009. The other blogs are not yet in my past memory. However, as I curiously visited these blogs, I found worthy business and entrepreneurial contents in them.
