The Options for Insolvent Businesses

This is a guest post by Jeffrey Carter, who is a business finance expert in the UK, advising companies in financial difficulty of their options.

In 2009 in the UK alone, 19077 businesses went into company liquidation. This figure was particularly high, largely as a result of the 18 month recession that gripped the global economies.

However, even in ‘normal’ economic circumstances, insolvency amongst businesses is more common than we would like. Contrary to popular misconception, however, company insolvency needn’t mean the end of the business.  There are a number of options available to insolvent companies. Read more

We should be prudent not to just walk and run across the road to get into the other side. We need to find first the pedestrian line to avoid being smashed by speedy trucks and cars.

Just like in doing business, we should not just jump and grab any income opportunities. We should find first the pedestrian lines of morality, ethics and the law of the land. Then we should walk through these lines so we will not be colliding with blames and fines.

How to build your business the right way?

Are you planning to build your own business? If yes, then you should build it the right way. The right way to build a business should begin at your heart and at your mind. Start establishing it at your heart. Yes you’ve read it right…at your heart! Why I am saying this? One of the top reasons why a businessman fails is his lack of passion and joy to his business. Once you raise a company which you don’t find interesting, you can hardly invest energy and enthusiasm on it. Thus, it may lead to a business downfall. The first thing to do to form a company that will stand through time is to make sure that it is written in the tablet of your heart. Ask yourself…do I really love this business? If you can honestly and firmly answer a “yes” on that question, then congratulations! You have built your business in your heart the right way. Read more

What is energy dieting for businesses?

When the late-2000s global economic recession occurred, businesses and companies resorted to an “energy diet” to cut their costs and survive the hard phenomenon. Energy dieting in the corporate world includes using more energy-efficient machines, reducing length of use on lights and electricity, saving gas and fuel, and other ways on saving our power usage as well as our power bills. The great thing in energy dieting is that it saves not only our money but it also saves our world. While energy saving cuts our energy cost, it also prevent the total extinguishment of our planet’s energy reserves. Minimization of energy usage (electricity, fuel and gasses) also reduces global warming, which is primarily caused by too much carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Carbon overload is caused mainly when we burn fossils fuels like coal, oil and gas. Hmmm…as we always talk about the green bucks, we should also discuss the green mother Earth and how to protect it. House, business and office blessing: How to do them right

House blessing, office blessing and even the blessing of a new car are usually done by their owners to keep them away from evils and avoid bad lucks. We also bless our home and workplace to receive prosperity in business and in life. These activities are performed to receive blessings from God above and attain success in everything that is related to the object of the blessing ceremony. Other people spend a lot of money (ceremony fee, feast and party) to have the rite completed in a hope to achieve life’s good luck and fortune. However, are these rituals really push away evils and pull good lucks? Why there are many firms, from small companies to large corporations, which are still facing bad lucks and tragedies despite of having those rites completed well? Perhaps, those grand ceremonies, that include some priests sprinkling some claimed holy water all over your property, have nothing to do with the real blessings from the heaven. I write this article not to spread controversy but only to spread the whole truth about receiving God’s blessings for our houses, offices, businesses and for our entire lives.

So how can we really receive God’s blessings? Let’s find the answer right from the Holy book where His words are written.

Proverbs 3:33 (NKJ V)
The curse of the LORD is on the house of the wicked; but He blesses the home of the just.
