In business, we should not become careless and in a hurry. We should posses the virtue of patience and diligence. Business success is not instantly achieved. It should be carried out with sacrifices and endurance to attain long-term success. Intelligence, talents and skills are not enough without diligence. Remember the story of the turtle and the rabbit? The two agreed to have a race. The rabbit has all the advantage since he is so fast compare to the turtle. Because of that advantage, the rabbit just sleep under the three after surpassing the turtle during the middle of the race, thinking the turtle is too slow and he can win the race even if he will sleep for a while. tree-in-the-park“Go to the ant, you sluggard! Consider her ways and be wise, which having no captain, overseer or ruler, provides her supplies in the summer, and gathers her food in the harvest.” Proverbs 6:6-8

The bible clearly encourages us to apply the hardworking characteristic of the ants. This means we should consistently work and be wise. We should consider the great attitude of the ant. Even if you are smart and kind, if your hands and body are as heavy as metal blocks, you may not reach your destination and goals. There are other people who are not really some kind of geniuses but achieve success because of constant hard work. Read more
