How to build your business the right way?

Are you planning to build your own business? If yes, then you should build it the right way. The right way to build a business should begin at your heart and at your mind. Start establishing it at your heart. Yes you’ve read it right…at your heart! Why I am saying this? One of the top reasons why a businessman fails is his lack of passion and joy to his business. Once you raise a company which you don’t find interesting, you can hardly invest energy and enthusiasm on it. Thus, it may lead to a business downfall. The first thing to do to form a company that will stand through time is to make sure that it is written in the tablet of your heart. Ask yourself…do I really love this business? If you can honestly and firmly answer a “yes” on that question, then congratulations! You have built your business in your heart the right way.

Now that your business is already standing firmly in your heart, you should next build it in your mind. This means you need to plan strategically. You need to have a business and a marketing plan! A good plan has S.M.A.R.T. qualities – specific, measurable, achievable, relevant and trackable. Think of a specific market or industry which your company will deal (specific). Make sure that its economic activities are accountable and quantifiable (measurable). Make a realistic and an attainable business (achievable). Start an enterprise that is very important to your life (relevant). Finally, have a business that can be monitored and tracked (trackable). It is important that your business is built properly in your heart and in your mind to run accordingly in the real world of business.

The next step after perfecting your business plan is to execute that plan. A plan should be followed by an action. A business should not only be constructed in your heart and mind, it must be putted up in your hands. Remember that feeling and thinking a thing is nothing without doing it. If an entrepreneur can execute a good business plan, he will surely have a good business.

After you have successfully erected your business in your emotions, thoughts and actions, the next important thing to consider is to build that business properly in the hearts, minds and hands of the people around you. These people are your employees, investors, lenders, neighbors, countrymen, suppliers, and your customers. All the good things in business that your have felt, thought and touched – must also be felt, thought and touched by those persons. Do not forget that a business is not only built for you – it is built for the world and the people living on it.
