Bible verses on marketing for marketers
Marketing is very important for a business to achieve success. But not all marketers accomplish it. With all the high and stiff competition, businesses struggle to stand out among others. Other companies resort in unethical and unfair schemes just to win the competition. But eventually find themselves in great loss and failure. As the world grows into a gigantic marketplace, every business owner is trapped inside the tricky market competition. Nevertheless, any entrepreneur can be different and become successful in this matter. The following are verses from the Holy Scriptures that will teach us how to do the marketing in a divine way.
Matthew 7:12
Therefore, whatever you want people to do for you, do the same for them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.”
Commentary:
If you want your customers to give you what you want from them (revenues or sales), then you should give to them what they want from you (reasonable price, satisfaction and customer care). Do you want your customers to stay with you always? Then keep in touch and pay attention to them always. Of course you don’t want your consumers to leave you in the dark, so don’t leave them with poor products and services. This is the golden rule, do good things to your clients and customers so that they will also do good things to you.
Luke 3:9
The ax already lies against the roots of the trees. So every tree not producing good fruit will be cut down and thrown into a fire.”
Commentary:
If you are producing or selling poor quality products and rendering poor quality services to your clients and customers, what do you think will happen? You know what I’m talking. And it may lead your feet and your business to a total fall down.
2Corinthians 4:18
Because we do not look for things that can be seen but for things that cannot be seen. For things that can be seen are temporary, but things that cannot be seen are eternal.
Commentary:
Which do you think will benefit your company longer – quick profits or good reputation?
1Peter 3:10
For “the person who wants to love life and see good days must keep his tongue from evil and his lips from speaking deceit.
Commentary:
Consumers, as their name suggest, consume services and products. What do you expect from them if you lied to them, saying these products are 100% guaranteed to give you total satisfaction? Would you think they will buy again to you and contribute to your business constant income and profit? Of course not!
Ecclesiastes 5: 5-7
It is better not to vow than to make a vow and not fulfill it. Do not let your mouth lead you into sin. And do not protest to the temple messenger, “My vow was a mistake.” Why should God be angry at what you say and destroy the work of your hands? Much dreaming and many words are meaningless. Therefore stand in awe of God.
Commentary:
Do not promise something that you cannot give just to earn profit. This action may give you your very first profit but may cause you to lose the biggest loss of your entrepreneurial and personal life. That’s why, be truthful and avoid committing deceit. Have fear in God and have fear in the people especially your clients and customers. Be prudent not to utter deceitful words that will eventually cause you destruction.
Ecclesiastes 9:17
The quiet words of the wise are more to be heeded than the shouts of a ruler of fools.
Commentary:
You don’t need to spend expensively to make a very noisy marketing movement. Now that the Earth has flattened by the advanced internet technology of the world, spending so much in product promotion may become foolish. A wise marketer, create high quality product, offer a reasonable price, make them accessible and create a unique promotion. He himself doesn’t shout to stretch the good news about his product, but it is the people who spread the good news through the word of their mouths. This happens because these people have witnessed and experienced the good things about his promotion, price, place and his products.
1Corinthias 16:14
Everything you do should be done in love.
Commentary:
In every product we produce and sell, and in every services we provide, we should be patient and hardworking to ensure quality, we should announce them honestly, we should not plan with evil minds, we should not boast, we should not envy our competitors but rather be inspired, we should not be selfish but rather be caring to our customers, and we should not practice the works of wickedness. Let us love our customers, and even our competitors, so that we will see our customers buying and our competitors cooperating.

If you're looking for inspiring verses look at ones like John 3:16 that grant hope to the non-believer and believer! Also Psalm 23 is a great chapter you may want to spend a few weeks on delving deeper into the origin and meaning of all the things David wrote about. That one gives hope and is a comfort for those looking to the Lord.
These summary articles are so useful to get really really quick inspiration — I scroll rapidly down them until I see something I like, then bookmark any that look like they contain ideas that are compatible with anything I’m working on. This sort of ‘ideas cloud’ all goes into the mix when tweaking aspects of a design.
The Bible stated that we should not be worried about our life and about our material needs like food, water and clothing. God will provide us our daily bread as long as we are working righteously.
Really ! great Information, keep posting..
