Marketing your brand takes a lot of challenges. It may also include investment of time, energy and money. Hence, a marketing idea or strategy should be carefully formulated to assure its effectiveness and success. Your logo, slogan and brand name are among your identities in the marketplace. With the strong competition that exists in the marketing world, your promotional strategies should be created to standout among others. One technique to achieve that goal is to give a great consideration on human behaviors.

Take a look on the five brand names of website design companies above. Which do you think tickles your curiosity? People encounter numerous products and brands everyday. A brand, to mark in their minds, should catch their attention and requires them to invest more time and effort to that brand. Among the five names above, Creative Creations, tries to make readers spend more time to read the name of their brand. That creates an event that will become remarkable in the minds of its observers.

This technique doesn’t tell anyone to just use a logo or a brand name that is twisted literally like the one above. This is a strategy that can be use in all our marketing campaigns from producing a product to making an advertisement to boost sales. However, like other effective marketing tools, we should also be precise in using this to make it more effective. Misusing it may give us unfavorable consequences. We should also properly mix it with other marketing techniques like consumer targeting. You know I’m saying, a twisted presentation may catch the minds of dynamic consumers but may also be left behind by people who have lazy minds.

Maybe attach a coupon to the postcard for a local restaurant. If there are golf courses around find out when the next big tournament is an sponser the tournament. • Good marketing idea. I like this idea. Thanks for information.
  • Curiosity does sell, that's why I think nowadays when selling yourself, and making a business card, the standard way of making a business card is not sufficient, you have to make one that stands out, one that is unique from all the others. If you put in just a little bit of money into it you can make one that when a person picks it up, they will be so intrigued by it that they will want to do business with you =D

    Till then,

    Jean
  • That's right Jean, a businesscard that is unique stands out. Thanks for reminding this, since I was about to make my bcard now.
  • Personally I don't like the backwards logo, but I guess it does attract attention. Still, when do people really see your logo apart from your website and its design? I don't think the logo necessarily needs to stand out, but the marketing message definitely does need to.
