Let’s follow and tweet each other on twitter
As I write this post, Twitter is already ranked 26th among the world’s most popular websites according to Alexa’s web traffic rankings. Since it’s creation in 2006, Twitter has already become a phenomenon in the online world. Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging services that enables its user to send and read messages known as “tweets”. Tweets are text-based posts of 140 maximum characters displayed on the author’s profile page and delivered to the author’s subscribers who are known as followers. I am enjoying twitter about a few months now. As of today, I already followed 1,485 twitters. 1,550 twitters also have followed me as of this time. Twitter is a place for easy connection with the people you want to follow and you want to keep an eye on whatever they do. A simple question that says “what are you doing?” does all the update of every users, tweeters and members of the site. It can also become an effective medium to promote your blog or website. That is, as long as you abide the rules of ethical social media practice.
To have a large number of followers is an appealing achievement. Hence many marketers, internet entrepreneurs and bloggers take the opportunity in utilizing Twitter. Taga United States ako. Ako ay Amerikano. Gusto ko ang Pilipinas. Gusto kong bisitahin ang Tacloban City isang araw. Ang Pilipinas ay magandang bansa. I have many friends there in the Philippines, each of whom have submitted their blogs for inclusion in my blog directory. Currently, my site is ranking on the first page in Google for the term “blog directory.”
Because of Twitter, I am able to send quick tweets to many great Pinoys for whom I have great respect. I hope to make Wil's Domain a multi-cutural destination online to which one may visit for many and varied topics.
Currently, I am attempting to fulfill a promise to master tagalog, in which language I prefer to communiate whenever I have the opportunity. Pinag-aralan ko ang tagalog. Ang tagalog ko ay mali. Kailangan ko pang pag-aralan ang tagalog. With practice and patience, I shall prevail. I would like to thank you for the opportunity to practice my tagalog. I realize you live in Leyte; however, I pray and hope my later mastering Cebuano will be just as rewarding.
In the meantime, I will list your blog in the Wil's Domain blog directory at Wil's Domain. You offer so much information here. You have succeeded in making BusinessAccent.com a great blog.
If you would like to guest blog for Wil's Domain, please feel free to visit my Web site and use the contact page to contact me. I would love to post any Filipino's first-hand knowledge of the Philippines on the Wils Domain Weblog.
Moreover, I would like to net work with Pinoy bloggers who would like to submit English Weblog entries for inclusion in the Wil's Domain Weblog.
Pagpalain ka. Sa muling pagkikita!
Wil

Hi Will,
Welcome to BusinessAccent,I just followed you back in Twitter. You have written your Tagalog nice and acceptable. I'm glad that you have practiced it well. I'm now excited how you will say them. Lol. I visited your directory, and I can say it was a great success. I hope you more success on it. Yes I am in Leyte. I wish you are here today becuase it's our celebration of Gen. Douglas Mac Arthur's Leyte Landing – a very famous historical event during the World War II. There are great shows today at the Leyte Gulf commemorating the event.
